Music at Trinity

Music at Trinity

At Trinity our worship is filled with music. The congregation sings liturgy, hymns, and psalms.  We all share our love of making a musical offering to God.  Want to request a favorite hymn for the worship service, click on the button above and let us know?

Our traditional church service begins at 9:30 am on Sunday mornings.

Martin Luther considered music a gift from God second only to the Word of God.

Mimi (Marti) Dushak was born and raised in the state of Iowa.  She was the first of 6 children to a Presbyterian Pastor and a mother who was an RN.  After college, she moved to Boston, Mass. to pursue further training in music at New England Conservatory. It was there she met Tom Dushak, who graduated with a classical guitar degree.  They played and toured around Boston and Cape Cod.  Later, they had two children, and moved further west to Worcester, Mass.  It was there, along with some college teaching, playing in an orchestra, she began musical church work.  They moved the family to Charlotte, NC in 1986, to be near family.   She continued her work in flute, singing, and Directed Music Ministries in Methodist, Presbyterian and Catholic Churches for 40 years.  A year ago, they retired to Hendersonville.  They look forward to sharing their talents in many ways in this vibrant arts community.
